Sure, it's true ever since I got called out in July for wearing a red sox shirt, I've had it in for the rockies. It's hard to have respect for a team that was being rolled out when I was in my freshman year of college.
As fun as it was watching them get fisted by the red sox, it was hard to watch. Mainly because of their uniforms. I know that getting distracted by uniforms is pretty juvenile, but those things are awful. They looked like extras in a low budget sci-fi movie. Even the coolflo batting helmets are pretty lame - seriously, those things look like the bottom of my driver.

Not so juvenile around here, back home on the Cape. Those gawd awful uniforms are the butt end of just about every water cooler rehash of the first game. Reminds me of something that might have stepped right out of a Flash Gordon movie. And yeah Giuseppi, GO SOX!!!!!!!
You mean their batting helmets are caked with grass and dirt from getting turfed repeatedly? Yeah, I imagine that does look pretty stupid.
hey wait - but that's what Manny Ramirez does... oh, I get it; you are making fun of the Red Sox. Got me. I will admit that game 2 left us with saner away uniforms for the Colorado Sentry-bots. I mean Rockies.
I kinda like that move. While I can throw a baseball overhand about as far as a six year, I also let dirt and grime build on part of my uniform without ever washing them.
