Now that ive got the iPhone, I wanted to see if mobile blogging with pigs is really easy. Not terribly hard.

Nice. Weren't you giving me crap about having an iPhone just a few weeks ago. And I don't. And now that you do will you be giving me crap about how I don't have an iPhone? All this damn crap giving...

Did I give you shit about it?

hey, I think people should have whatever phone they want, as long as they stay away from neon colored jelly protective cases with rhinestones.

I'll be honest, my ipod isn't going anywhere - I have no interest in using the video/audio playing feature. What I do like is:

- It's reliable, consistent with apple hardware/software; I am sick of motorola junk crashing and burning

- It draws a good line between added productivity, and not inviting you to try and chipmunk your way through a day of work on your phone. I saw way too much of that at emc. By locking out some things, like office document creation and editing, you eliminate the potential for "The blackberry effect"

- the typing pad is actually very fast

- it syncs perfectly with my laptop stuff

- its not perfect, and I'll miss that connectivity on steroids of verizon.

It actually isn't that much crap. Good for you. I probably would have one if I could, but Verizon is the only game in town here. And if you don't think so, go to the Verizon store in Hyannis and ask them. After they make you wait 45 minutes they'll tell you the same.

I do like a simple, small phone though. One I'm not nervous about taking on a bike ride. I'm considering getting an iPod touch and using it as a PDA. See if they release Mail.app for it...

mea culpa; now come clean with your secret iPhone. Yeah; I wouldn't want to take it for a ride. It definitely has limitations that don't bother me, but it's good to know the flavor of before plunking down any coin.
